Join Our Team as a Radiation Oncology Physician

Are you a dedicated Radiation Oncology Physician passionate about advancing cancer treatment and patient care? We are seeking a skilled and compassionate medical doctor specializing in radiation therapy to provide exceptional care in a dynamic clinical setting. This vital role offers the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team, utilize advanced treatment techniques, and make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives.

Required Skills:
  • Valid New York State Medical License
  • Board Certification in Radiation Oncology
  • Minimum of 2 years recent clinical experience in radiation therapy
  • Proficiency in evaluating cancer patients and developing personalized treatment plans
  • Experience administering advanced radiation treatments such as stereotactic radiosurgery
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Basic life support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • Excellent clinical judgment and ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
  • Familiarity with automated medication dispensing systems like Pixys
  • Prior experience working in a hospital or outpatient clinic setting
  • Research experience or participation in clinical studies related to radiation oncology

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution
  • Prior comprehensive experience in radiation oncology, ideally with state-of-the-art treatment modalities
  • Proven ability to manage adult patient populations with complex medical conditions

Other Requirements:
  • Availability for coverage during scheduled days (preferably Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), working 8:00 am to 4:00 pm or 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
  • No call responsibilities required
  • Professional attire: business casual, with appropriate footwear
  • Must adhere to dress code, grooming, and safety standards
  • Leave cell phone in locker during shifts
  • Cell phone use not permitted on duty
  • Shift coverage is for the week of May 18 as a vacation coverage position
  • Hourly pay rate of $2,453.72
