We are seeking a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist for a locum PRN opportunity supporting vacation and FMLA coverage at a well-established cancer program in Lima, Ohio.

🩺 Position Overview

• Specialty: Radiation Oncology

• Practice Setting: Outpatient / Free-Standing Cancer Centers

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Coverage Type: PRN (vacations & FMLA coverage)

• Call: None – handled by permanent providers

While covering, the locum physician will act as the primary physician for patients.

• APP Support: 1

• Average Daily Volume:

  • Outpatient: ~20 patients

  • Inpatient: ~1 patient

• Trauma Level: II

• Patient Population: Adult

• Conventional Radiotherapy

• 3D Radiotherapy

• IMRT / IGRT

• External Beam Radiation (3D-CRT)

• Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)

• SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy)

• Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy

📋 Responsibilities

• Order diagnostic tests and imaging

• Develop treatment plans

• Prescribe radiation therapy treatments

• Travel Covered: Flight, Hotel, Rental Car

• Estimated Credentialing: 90–120 days

✅ Requirements

• Board Certified – Radiation Oncology

• Ohio Medical License (or willing to obtain)

• BLS Certification

• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days
