Exciting full-time locum opportunity for a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Radiation Oncologist to provide ongoing coverage at a well-established cancer center in Michigan. Providers will share a balanced patient load alongside an internal physician, ensuring collaborative oversight of radiation treatment plans and daily clinical operations.
This adult-focused oncology practice averages 10–15 outpatient visits per day and is supported by an NP and experienced clinical staff. The facility utilizes advanced radiation therapy techniques and modern EMR systems, offering a highly structured and technology-driven environment.
Ideal for Radiation Oncologists seeking consistent weekday coverage with shared 1:2 call in a comprehensive cancer treatment setting.
Job Responsibilities
• Develop and oversee radiation treatment plans
• Perform and supervise advanced radiation therapy procedures
• Manage on-treatment visits and daily clinic operations
• Participate in shared 24-hour call rotation (1:2)
• Order imaging, diagnostic tests, and prescribe therapies
• Utilize ARIA and Epic EMR systems
Qualifications
• Active Michigan Medical License or IMLC/LOQ (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required)
• Clean malpractice and background history
• Recent NPDB self-query report
• Availability for full-time ongoing coverage
Working Hours
• 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Full-time weekly coverage
• Shared 24-hour call (1:2 rotation)
• No routine inpatient rounding
