We are seeking a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist for a full-time, ongoing assignment at a premier cancer center in Florida. This facility is on the leading edge of technology, offering a sophisticated environment for comprehensive cancer care.
Assignment Timeline
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Ongoing
- Credentialing: 90-Day Timeline
Schedule & Call Structure
- Daily Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
- Call Coverage: Nightly beeper call and every weekend.
- Call Intensity: Minimal call-back. This is largely a consultative and management role outside of standard hours.
Clinical Setting & Technology
- Site Volume: ~1,600 new cancer cases registered annually.
- Accreditations: ACS Commission on Cancer & ACR Certified.
- Treatment Ecosystem:
- Proton Therapy: Mevion S250-FIT proton accelerator (Go-live Q2 2026).
- Software: Eclipse TPS, ARIA OIS, and MIM software.
- EMR: Cerner
Requirements
- Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Radiation Oncology.
- Licensure: Active Florida (FL) license or IMLC eligibility.
- Desired Experience: Clinical experience in Proton Therapy is highly desirable.
