Job description
We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist for a high-priority Locum Tenens opportunity at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Erie, Pennsylvania, due to an upcoming retirement.
This is an ASAP need (estimated start April 6, 2026, with emergency/temporary privileges available) with the potential for long-term coverage. The ideal provider can commit to multiple consecutive weeks or months and participate in weekend and call coverage.
Position Highlights:
- Full-time locums preferred (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off may be considered)
- Day shifts: 7:30am–4:00pm
- Call required (weeknight and weekend)
- EMR: ARIA / Epic
- Estimated 14 shifts per month
- Modern radiation oncology practice including IMRT, IGRT, SRS/SBRT, RapidArc, HDR
- Collaborative, well-supported cancer care team
Requirements:
- MD or DO, Board Certified (no BE)
- PA license (or willing to obtain; IMLC candidates accepted)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience
- Active DEA & BLS
- Comfortable working independently and with advanced technology (ARIA, Eclipse, SRS/SBRT)
Travel, lodging, and transportation are fully covered, and competitive market rates are offered.
