Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center and Cookeville Regional Medical Center are seeking a talented radiation oncologist to join the Cancer Center team in Cookeville, Tennessee.
Position Highlights:
Cookeville Regional Medical Center and Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center are collaborating to bring advanced cancer care to Cookeville and the surrounding 14-county region. The Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center (VICC) is comprised of a multi-disciplinary team of 297 faculty members and is a leader in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer. VICC is an NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, and the only cancer center in Tennessee considered a top performer by U.S. News and World Report. Through this partnership, patients receive world-class cancer care close to home with access to the latest technologies, clinical trials, and comprehensive support services.

Position Highlights:
- This generalist radiation oncology position offers the opportunity to build a thriving practice in a growing community, with emphasis on community outreach and developing a strong referral base.
- Provide comprehensive radiation oncology care utilizing state-of-the-art technology including three linear accelerators, a recently upgraded CT simulator, and Varian Aria treatment planning system.
- Traditional Monday-Friday schedule, 8am-5pm, allowing for excellent work/life balance.
- Share call responsibilities with 4 regional hospitals once per month; cover your own patients during the week.
- Physicians practice within a semi-independent community model while benefiting from Vanderbilt Health employment, operational support, and the strength of an NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center.
