Job description
We are seeking a Board Certified / Truly Board Eligible Radiation Oncologist for a locum opportunity in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule, strong physician and APP support, and a comprehensive cancer care setting.
📍 Location: Grand Rapids, MI
📅 Start Date: ASAP
⏳ Credentialing: ~90 days
👨⚕️ Providers Needed: 1
🕒 Schedule:
• Monday – Friday
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No call
• No weekends
🏥 Practice Details:
• Outpatient & inpatient coverage
• Comprehensive cancer center attached to hospital
• Adult patient population only
• Join 2 full-time Radiation Oncologists
• Supported by 2 APPs
• Outpatient volume: 30–50 patients/day
• Inpatient volume: 2–5 patients/day
• EMR: Mosaiq / Epic
✅ Requirements:
• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
• Active Michigan medical license
• BLS required
🛠️ Required Procedures:
• Conventional & 3D Radiotherapy
• IMRT / IGRT / SBRT
• External Beam Radiation (3D-CRT, IMRT)
• Stereotactic Radiosurgery
• Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy
• Helical Tomotherapy
💰 Compensation & Benefits:
