Overview
As a Radiation Oncology Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiation therapy to cancer patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and utilizing cutting-edge equipment. This position is ideal for professionals committed to excellence, innovation, and compassionate patient care. The role offers flexibility with 3-4 clinical days per week, no call responsibilities, and a focus on advancing oncology treatment standards.

Required Skills
  • Valid radiation therapy license or certification (RTT)
  • Proven experience with high-tech radiation treatment equipment, such as Varian TrueBeam, Elekta-Nucletron HDR, or Siemens SomaTom CT Simulator
  • Strong knowledge of radiation oncology principles and procedures
  • Excellent clinical judgment and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills with patients and healthcare team members
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience with electronic medical records systems such as EPIC and ARIA
  • Prior work in accredited oncology or hospital settings
  • Familiarity with research protocols and clinical trials in oncology
  • Certifications in OCN or related fields
  • Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Radiation Therapy or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in radiation oncology clinical practice
  • Prior experience working in an ACR, ACoS, or HFAP-accredited facility is advantageous

Other Requirements
  • Ability to adapt to a fully digital, paperless work environment
  • Willingness to adhere to all safety and regulatory standards
  • Possession of or eligibility for licensure and certification in radiation therapy
  • Flexibility to work 3-4 days per week during assigned schedule
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for professional development or meetings if required
