Locums | Radiation Oncology | Clinic + Call | Tampa, FL (IMLC accepted) Why This Role

  • Full-scope radiation oncology coverage at a high-volume, hospital-based cancer program
  • Advanced technology environment including new proton therapy installation
  • Ongoing vacancy coverage with consistent weekday schedule and limited call burden
Assignment Details Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Schedule: Onsite coverage 8:00a–4:00p Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours + call Practice Setting: Clinic-based care with inpatient consults as needed Call: Beeper call, 1:2 ratio with minimal callbacks and rotational weekend call (no more than two weekends per month) Clinical Details Annual Volume: Approximately 1,600 new cancer cases Technology: Two linear accelerators, HDR brachytherapy, CT simulation, treatment planning and OIS platforms, proton therapy planned to go live in 2026 Modalities: External beam radiation therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, brachytherapy, and advanced treatment planning techniques Patient Care: Assigned and unassigned patient coverage as needed Admissions: Not required EMR: Cerner Requirements Board certified in Radiation Oncology Active Florida license or IMLC accepted ACLS and BLS required Experience with advanced radiation techniques required; proton therapy experience preferred Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
