Join Our Team as a Radiation Oncologist – Make a Difference in Patient Care
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Radiation Oncologist to provide expert care during a critical short-term coverage period. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes during scheduled dates, contributing to our mission of delivering quality oncology services.
Required Skills:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) with current, unrestricted medical license
- Board-certified or Board-eligible in Radiation Oncology
- Proven experience in inpatient and outpatient radiation therapy
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with outpatient radiation treatment planning
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Prior experience in hospital-based oncology services
- Knowledge of emergency consultation procedures in oncology settings
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in Radiation Oncology
- Prior experience working in hospital or inpatient settings is preferred
Other Requirements:
- Availability for on-site coverage on February 5 and 6, 2026
- Ability to work scheduled hours from 0700 to 1500 onsite, weekdays
- Minimal required on-call/emergency coverage; rare consults outside regular hours
- Documentation of patient contact hours, including callback hours
- Compliance with all healthcare regulations, licensure, and safety standards
