Radiation Oncology Specialist

Required Skills:
  • Valid radiation oncology certification and state licensure
  • Proven experience in delivering radiation therapy treatments
  • Excellent understanding of radiation physics, safety protocols, and treatment planning
  • Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with patients
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot advanced radiation equipment
  • Knowledge of radiation safety standards and patient care protocols

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with advanced imaging modalities (e.g., CT, MRI, PET)
  • Familiarity with treatment planning software
  • Prior experience in a hospital or academic setting
  • Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Radiation Therapy, Medical Physics, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in radiation oncology
  • Certification through recognized professional bodies such as ASTRO or ABMP

Other Requirements:
  • Flexibility to work a flexible schedule; shift details to be defined
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required state licensure and certifications
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and continuing education
