Radiation Oncology Specialist

Required Skills:
- Valid radiation oncology certification and state licensure
- Proven experience in delivering radiation therapy treatments
- Excellent understanding of radiation physics, safety protocols, and treatment planning
- Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with patients
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot advanced radiation equipment
- Knowledge of radiation safety standards and patient care protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with advanced imaging modalities (e.g., CT, MRI, PET)
- Familiarity with treatment planning software
- Prior experience in a hospital or academic setting
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Radiation Therapy, Medical Physics, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in radiation oncology
- Certification through recognized professional bodies such as ASTRO or ABMP
Other Requirements:
- Flexibility to work a flexible schedule; shift details to be defined
- Ability to obtain and maintain required state licensure and certifications
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and continuing education
