Radiation Oncologist - Locum Position in Grand Rapids, MI

The Trinity Health Richard J. Lacks Cancer Center is seeking a dedicated Radiation Oncologist to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This facility is known for its comprehensive approach to cancer care, providing both outpatient and inpatient services. You will be part of an esteemed team of professionals in a supportive environment dedicated to making a difference in patients’ lives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient evaluations and assessments.
• Order diagnostic tests and images.
• Prescribe treatment plans including conventional and advanced radiotherapy techniques.
• Collaborate with two other full-time physicians and 2 APPs for comprehensive care.
• Manage an average of 30-50 outpatient visits per day and 2-5 inpatient rounds.
• Utilize EMR systems (Mosaiq/EPIC) for patient documentation.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology - REQUIRED
• Active Michigan Medical License - REQUIRED
• BLS Certification - REQUIRED
• Recent NPDB report (must be pulled within the last month or within 90 days) - REQUIRED

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in Radiation Oncology
• Active State License in Michigan
• BLS Certification
