Hybrid Radiation Oncologist – Locums Opportunity | Greater Quincy, IL Area

Location: Quincy, IL
Start Date: January 5, 2026
Type: Locums
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Compensation: Open to discussion- market-competitive rates (remote rate must be $30/hr lower than onsite)

Job Responsibilities

A well-established cancer care center in the greater Quincy, IL region is seeking a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist for a premium locums opportunity. The center provides comprehensive cancer care supported by multidisciplinary teams, advanced imaging, and modern treatment technologies. This hybrid role offers a balanced mix of onsite and remote work, with flexibility built into the weekly schedule.

Qualifications

Certifications: BLS required

Licensure: Must hold an active Illinois medical license

Experience: Minimum 1 year in Radiation Oncology preferred

Working Hours

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

3 days onsite / 2 days remote

Onsite/remote days are flexible

Daytime hours may be adjusted case-by-case

On-call: None

Duration: ASAP- Ongoing

These programs commonly treat a broad range of tumor types — including breast, GI, GU, thoracic, and hematologic malignancies — supported by coordinated care teams
