- Other details: The facility which is trauma level 1 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and In-house call if needed. This radiation oncology coverage opportunity requires the provider to be on-site for scheduled dates, with regular inpatient consultation hours on weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Duties include seeing patients in the office as needed, overseeing scheduled radiation treatments, and rounding or consulting on inpatients when necessary. The physician must be present on-site while providing radiation treatments. After-hours or weekend consultations are rare, with the possibility of an emergent request from the ER or another physician for a radiation treatment occurring only once or twice per year, and no routine on-call or callback responsibilities are required beyond these rare occurrences.

Job Responsibilities
* Conduct inpatient consultations during regular weekday hours

* Oversee scheduled radiation treatments
* Round on or consult with inpatients as necessary
* Respond to rare emergent after-hours or weekend radiation treatment requests
Qualifications
* Experience in inpatient and outpatient radiation oncology care
* Ability to manage radiation treatments safely and effectively
