Responsibilities and Duties
- Function independently to provide patient-centric care across various settings, including in-person and telehealth modalities
- Gather patient history, perform physical exams, and review prior records and ancillary data using critical problem-solving skills
- Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans; communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team
- Offer education and counseling to patients and families regarding care plans, treatments, and discharge processes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and leadership to maintain safe, coordinated patient care
- Assist collaborating physicians with inpatient management according to site policies and scope of practice
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and documentation guidelines
- May be asked to float to other departments within scope and qualifications or be on-call during scheduled shifts
- Uphold the mission, vision, and values of the organization and adhere to service behavior standards
Additional Information
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school and residency training in radiation oncology required
- Active Colorado medical license required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certification required
- Regular on-site attendance and ability to work nights and weekends for identified positions
