Job description We are seeking a board-certified Radiation Oncologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina, starting Apr 6, 2026. The position offers day shifts, Monday through Friday, with working hours from 8 am to 4 pm. This role involves a balance of new consults, follow-ups, and participation in tumor boards, supporting a busy clinical practice utilizing Epic and Mosaiq EMR systems.

Job Details

  • Provider Type Needed: Radiation Oncologist
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 am – 4 pm

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Participate in morning team meetings and tumor boards
  • Conduct new patient consults (average of 2 per day) and follow-up appointments (3–5 per day)
  • Perform status checks and review CBCT for patients
  • Assist with occasional clinical setups
  • Oversee approximately 25–30 patients receiving treatment
  • Manage patient care from first patient at 8:00 am to last patient around 4:00–4:30 pm

Additional Information
  • Must be board certified in Radiation Oncology (ABR)
  • Experience with Raystation and Mosaiq required
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification required
  • Preference for candidates enrolled in Maintenance of Certification (MOC)
  • Familiarity with Epic and Mosaiq EMR systems
