Position Overview
An outpatient cancer center in Massachusetts is seeking a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist to provide locum tenens coverage for a 6-month contract with the option to extend. This is a high-volume outpatient practice averaging 20–25 patients on treatment per day. Procedures include SBRT, IMRT, and 3D conformal radiation therapy. No brachytherapy.
Total estimated income for a 6-month contract is $200K+. $400K for 12 months.

Skills & Experience

ABR Board Certified in Radiation Oncology (required)

Ability to manage high patient volume efficiently and collaboratively
Job Responsibilities

Deliver outpatient radiation oncology care to a patient panel of 20–25 patients per day

Provide consults, treatment planning, and follow-up care

Collaborate with radiation therapists, dosimetrists, and physicists

Participate in quality assurance and safety protocols

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR
