We are seeking a Radiation Oncologist for an immediate and ongoing Locum Tenens opportunity in Virginia, offering a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with no call requirement.
Assignment Details
- Specialty: Radiation Oncology
- Start Date: December 8, 2025
- End Date: Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Clinic Only
- Call Requirement: No Call
- EMR: MediTech
- License: Active Virginia (VA) License required.
- Credentialing Timeline: 30 Days (Expedited Privileges)
Schedule & Scope of Work
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
- Patient Volume: Treating an average of 15 patients per day.
- Treatment Modalities: The provider will utilize and oversee:
- SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy)
- VMAT (Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy)
- Conventional Radiation Treatment
Technology & Equipment
- Linear Accelerator: Elekta Versa HD
- Simulator: GE Discovery RT Sim
- Treatment Planning System: Monaco
- Contouring Station: MIMS
Requirements
