A leading medical center in Eastern Iowa is seeking a Radiation Oncologist to provide full-time, ongoing locum coverage. This is a stable, long-term opportunity with excellent compensation, a predictable weekday schedule, and travel/lodging fully covered.
Job Responsibilities
Treat adult patients (Level II Trauma Center).
Perform and supervise the following procedures:
Conventional Radiotherapy
3D Radiotherapy
IMRT, IGRT, and 3D-CRT
SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy)
SRS (Stereotactic Radiosurgery)
Photon Beam and Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy
Qualifications
Active Iowa License or IMLC – Required
COVID-19 vaccination – Required
Clean background and malpractice – Required
Experience with Aria EMR – Highly Preferred
Local or within driving distance – Preferred
Working Hours
No inpatient rounding or call required (0–1 inpatient cases on average)
Work independently – only one Radiation Oncologist on site
Credentialing: Temp privileges available (30–60 days)
