LOCUM Radiation Oncologist – Muskegon, Michigan

Cancer Center | Weekday Schedule | Ongoing Coverage

365 Healthcare is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Radiation Oncologists for a locum opportunity in Muskegon, Michigan. This assignment provides full-time coverage within a comprehensive cancer center supporting radiation oncology services for adult patients.

Providers will work within a collaborative oncology program sharing patient care responsibilities with an internal physician while supporting ongoing clinical operations and radiation treatment planning.

Schedule Model

• Monday – Friday
• 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Day shift schedule
• Shared call rotation (1:2)

Coverage Needed

• Coverage beginning February 2026
• Full-time ongoing coverage needed
• Facility seeking consistent weekly coverage

Providers will share a patient pool while collaborating with the internal physician who oversees the overall clinic operations and treatment planning.

Practice Overview

• Free-standing cancer center
• Adult oncology patient population
• Average outpatient volume: 10–15 patients per day
• Minimal inpatient responsibilities

Team Structure

• 2 Radiation Oncologists
• 1 Nurse Practitioner supporting clinic operations
• Multidisciplinary oncology support staff

Systems

• EMR: Epic
• Radiation oncology system: ARIA

Clinical Scope

Providers will perform radiation oncology consultations, treatment planning, and clinical oversight for radiation therapy patients.

Treatment modalities include:

• Conventional Radiotherapy
• 3D Radiotherapy
• External Beam Radiation Therapy (3D-CRT)
• Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT)
• Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)
• Stereotactic Radiosurgery
• Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
• Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate and consult oncology patients
• Develop and manage radiation treatment plans
• Order and review diagnostic imaging and testing
• Oversee on-treatment visits and patient monitoring
• Collaborate with oncology and multidisciplinary care teams
• Support daily clinical operations within the cancer center

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
• Active Michigan license or IMLC Letter of Qualification
• BLS certification
• Availability for full-time ongoing coverage
• Clean malpractice and background history
• NPDB Self-Query report required
