Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Radiation Oncology in Muskegon, MI
Join a dedicated team at a Free-Standing Cancer Center in Muskegon, Michigan, where we are looking for full-time Radiation Oncologists to provide exceptional care. Starting February 2026, this position is crucial due to physician turnover and involves shared patient responsibilities with another physician, creating a collaborative environment for providing advanced oncology care. The facility operates Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4 PM, with a 24-hour on-call schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with patients and perform minor procedures.
- Deliver high-quality radiation therapy, including conventional, 3D, and stereotactic treatments.
- Order tests and images as necessary.
- Prescribe treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure smooth daily clinical operations.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology.
- MI State License or IMLC/LOQ.
- BLS Certified.
- Clean malpractice and background check, with an updated Self-Query NPDB required at the time of presentation.
- Availability to provide full-time, ongoing coverage.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid Michigan State License (or IMLC/LOQ).
- Board Certification in Radiation Oncology.
- BLS Certification.
