Join Our Team as a Radiation Oncologist in Muskegon, MI!
The Johnson Family Cancer Center in Muskegon is actively seeking skilled Radiation Oncologists to join our dedicated team starting February 2026. This free-standing cancer center provides a supportive environment and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our adult patient population. Our practice is designed to ensure high-quality care with a focus on collaboration and patient well-being.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide coverage on an ongoing basis, with a scheduled Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4 PM.
- Share patient load with an internal physician, accommodating approximately 10-15 outpatient consultations per day.
- Conduct necessary procedures, including Conventional and 3D Radiotherapy, External Beam Radiation, and Stereotactic Radiosurgery.
- Order tests, images, and prescribe treatment as needed.
- Participate in covering daily clinical operations and minor procedures.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology - REQUIRED
- Active Michigan State Medical License or IMLC/LOQ - REQUIRED
- BLS Certified - REQUIRED
- Availability for full-time ongoing coverage - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid Michigan State License
- BLS Certification
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Radiation Oncology
