Locum Physician - Radiation Oncology in Muskegon, MI
Join a dedicated team at a Free-Standing Cancer Center in Muskegon, Michigan, providing essential services to a diverse patient population. The facility is currently seeking two full-time Radiation Oncologists to cover starting February 2026, due to physician turnover. Enjoy a well-structured schedule, working Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4 PM, with a shared call ratio of 1:2. You'll collaborate with experienced professionals in a supportive environment, ensuring comprehensive care for your patients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate care to adult and hospital-based patients.
- Perform required procedures including Conventional Radiotherapy, 3D Radiotherapy, and Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT).
- Order tests and images, and prescribe treatment plans.
- Assist with daily clinical operations and see consults as needed.
- Collaborate with an experienced team of other Radiation Oncologists and Nurse Practitioners.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology - REQUIRED
- Michigan State License or IMLC/LOQ - REQUIRED
- BLS Certified - REQUIRED
- Must be available for full-time ongoing coverage - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid Michigan State License
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Radiation Oncology
- BLS Certification
