An established medical group in Dubuque, Iowa, is seeking a Radiation Oncologist for a locum-to-perm opportunity. This is a full-time role offering a stable schedule, outpatient focus, and potential long-term placement in a collaborative environment.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-min lunch)

• 8-hour shifts, full-time (4 weeks per month)

• No call requirements

Practice Details

• Current practice includes 1 Radiation Oncologist

• Solo coverage during locums assignment

• Patient Volume: ~20–25 patients/day (on treatment, consults, weekly visits, follow-ups)

• Inpatient volume: 0–1 per day (minimal)

• Trauma Level: 2

• Patient population: Adults only

• EMR: Aria

• Credentialing: Temp privileges available (30–60 days)

• Conventional Radiotherapy

• 3D Radiotherapy (3D-CRT)

• External Beam Radiation (IMRT, IGRT)

• Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)

• Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)

• Photon Beam Radiation Therapy

• Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy

Compensation & Logistics

• Hourly Rate: $370

• Overtime Rate: $555/hr

Candidate Profile

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology

• Active IA license or willingness to obtain (temp privileges possible)

• Comfortable with full-scope procedures listed above
