Locum to Perm - Physician - Radiation Oncology

Join a dedicated healthcare team in Dubuque, Iowa!
We are seeking a full-time Radiation Oncologist to support our vibrant outpatient practice. The facility operates from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life experience with no on-call requirements. The practice serves adult patients and utilizes the EMR system Aria, with an average of 20-25 outpatient consultations per day.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive radiation oncology services to adult patients.
• Perform required procedures including Conventional Radiotherapy and Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy.
• Manage weekly treatment visits and follow-ups while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
• Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Utilize Aria EMR for documentation and patient management.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Radiation Oncology (required).
• Active Iowa medical license or IMLC (required).
• COVID-19 vaccination (required).
• Ability to start ASAP upon credentialing (30-60 days clearance).
• Availability for full-time coverage, including 4-week stretches (required).
• Clean background and malpractice history (required).
• Experience with Aria EMR is highly preferred.
• Local candidates or those within driving distance are highly preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Valid and active Iowa medical license or IMLC.
• Board Certification in Radiation Oncology.
• Current COVID-19 vaccination documentation.
