Job Title: Locum Physician - Radiation Oncology
Join our dedicated team at a leading healthcare facility in beautiful Dubuque, Iowa. We are seeking a skilled Radiation Oncologist to provide full-time care in our state-of-the-art practice. Enjoy a supportive work environment, with an average patient load of 20-25 per day and no call requirements. The facility operates Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance while delivering exceptional patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide radiation oncology services to adult patients in an outpatient setting.
- Manage treatment plans, follow-ups, and consults for an average of 20-25 patients daily.
- Perform required procedures, including but not limited to:
- Conventional Radiotherapy
- 3D Radiotherapy
- IMRT and IGRT
- Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
- Stereotactic Radiosurgery
- Photon Beam Radiation Therapy
- Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy
- Utilize EMR system - Aria for patient documentation and record-keeping.
- Ensure all treatment protocols comply with established clinical guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Radiation Oncology.
- Active Iowa license or active IMLC.
- Prior experience with Aria EMR is highly preferred.
- A clean background and malpractice history.
- Must be able to start ASAP upon credentialing.
- Availability to cover 4-week stretches at a time is required.
- Local candidates or those within driving distance are highly preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Radiation Oncology.
- Active Iowa medical license or international medical license compact (IMLC).
- Current COVID vaccination.
