Locums – Minot, North Dakota, Radiation Oncology Opening
- Clinical Role:

- Start Date: June 3, 2024
- Contract Length: 12 weeks; through August 30, 2024
- Shift Details: 8a-5p M-F; locums covering weekend call sporadically (will know schedule in advance)
- Schedule: 2-3 weeks/month
- Support staff: NP, nursing, front desk staff, physicist, nurse navigator, dosimetrist
- Amount of coverage needed per month: 2-3 weeks per month
- Patients per day: this varies; 23 EBRT/month, 2 HDR/month. Some patients with weekly or monthly visits as well as treatment. They have 10 exam rooms.
- Patient population/age: 18+
- EMR: Cerner - use Aria platform (Aria - combine radiation, medical and surgical oncology information into a complete EMR that helps manage the patient’s entire journey)
- Hospital bed size: related hospital has 318 beds; clinic has 10 exam rooms.
- Special procedures: Radiation therapy - the broader their scope, the better based on their patient's needs
- Skills required: EBRT and HDR. They do have a diverse population of cancers in their community so someone who has experience with many types would be highly preferred.
- Practice Setting: Clinic - Cancer Center
- Board Certification in Radiation Oncology
- Active ND License Required or IMLC Accepted
- DEA - Required
- BLS Required
- Minimum experience required: 2-3 years' experience
