CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group is searching for a full time board- certified or board-eligible radiation oncologist to join our practice in Bardstown, KY. New graduates and early career board-certified/board-eligible candidates are encouraged to apply! We are a community practice that is part of the national CommonSpirit Health organization and maintain an affiliation with the Cleveland Clinic Cancer program which promotes a culture of continuous quality improvement. There are active tumor boards for GI, Breast, Lung, and General that are available network-wide throughout Kentucky. Our clinic is fully ACR and COC accredited. National clinical trials are available for enrollment. We have a new linear accelerator installed in June 2023! There will be ample opportunity to establish and build an SBRT/SRS program and experience in this area is ideal. You will join a solo clinic but with a group of 3 radiation oncologists based around the KY market along with 2 medical dosimetrists and 2 medical physicists (recruiting for a 3rd position for both). We have 1 full time RN, 1 nurse navigator, 2 full time radiation therapists, nutritionist, geneticist, and a social worker. You will work closely with 1 full time on site medical oncologist.

New Elekta Versa HD Linear Accelerator with 6DoF couch
EPIC for primary EMR
Pinnacle v18 for treatment planning and MOSAIQ for R&V
DIBH capability has been purchased, awaiting installation
4.5 days per week (clinic closed after 12pm on Fridays)
Average 8-12 patients on treatment with potential for growth with
new SBRT/SRS capability
