Radiation Oncology Job in, WV
There are a total of 4 Radiation Oncologists in the primary/secondary service area. Office space available within Radiation Therapy Department. Two office total, time in each place needed. High potential for growth. Practice has been in community for 10+ years. Competitive Financial Package. One Medical Oncologist on staff. Additionally there are 1 Urologist, 4 Surgeons, 1 ENT and 1 Gastroentertologist, and numerous primary care physicians on staff. Practice's competition comes from Princeton, WV. Hospital based radiation therapy department. See approximately 75 new therapy patients per year. Hospital has a Siemens Linear Accelerator and Xio Treatment planning software. Have a physicist/dosimetry coverage 1 day per week and additional coverage as needed. Do not have a dedicated chemo therapy beds or an in-house cancer unit. Chemo therapy (for the most part) is given in physician's office and in hospital's outpatient surgery area. Number of Radiation Therapists: 4. The Current department has existed for 30+ years.
