Medical Oncology Locum Tenens Job | Florida Coast
An established cancer program seeking a Board Certified Medical Oncologist for a long-term locum tenens assignment with the potential for ongoing coverage.
Position Highlights
--Dates of coverage: Starting 11/30 through Summer 2027
--Outpatient-focused practice
--Monday through Friday, 8a-5p schedule
--Board Certified in Medical Oncology
--Active Florida state license preferred, will consider IMLC candidates
Clinical Responsibilities
--General Medical Oncology
--Mix of new patient consultations and follow-up visits
--Treatment planning and ongoing patient management
--Oversight of infusion therapies
--Routine outpatient oncology responsibilities
--Breast oncology experience welcomed but not required
Practice Environment
--Up to 3 new patient consults per day
--Up to 8 established patient follow-ups per day
--Collaborative team of physicians and APPs
--Dedicated nursing, navigation, dietary, and administrative support
--Minimal call requirements with shared coverage responsibilities
