We are seeking a Locums Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide inpatient oncology hospitalist coverage in Worcester, Massachusetts. This is a long-term opportunity with an anticipated 1-year assignment and the possibility of extension.
The physician will provide inpatient hematology/oncology care in a collaborative environment, with a mix of independent patient management and working alongside other providers.
Compensation: $450 Per Hour
Position Highlights
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment: 1 year with possibility to extend
- Setting: Inpatient Oncology
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
- 4 × 10-hour shifts
- Ideally Tuesday–Friday
- Approximately 12–15 patient encounters per day
- Combination of independent inpatient care management and collaborative care
- EMR: Epic
- Bone marrow biopsy experience preferred
- Local candidates preferred; travel candidates considered with consistent availability
- Market-rate compensation
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Hematology/Oncology fellowship required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
- Active Massachusetts medical license required
- DEA and CSR required
- Bone marrow biopsy experience preferred
