Hematology/Oncology Locum – Ohio
License Status Required – Yes or IMLC
Certifications Required (BLS/ATLS/PALS etc.) - Awaiting answer
Shift times- Outpatient clinic 4-5 days/week; 1:4 call rotation runs Friday 8:00 AM-Friday 8:00 AM; weekend hospital rounding when on call
Dates- Preferably 2-4 weeks onsite each month; starting November 2026 through at least April 2026 (as provided)
Census- 15-20 patients/day
EMR- Cerner
Credentialing Timeframe? 3-4 weeks; can be as fast as 2 weeks for a clean file; temporary privileges offered
What does a typical day look like? See scheduled patients in outpatient clinic 4-5 days/week; attend tumor board during onsite working weeks; participate in 1:4 call with inpatient rounding, including weekends when on call. Hematology/Oncology need (not pure oncology): provider must be comfortable with general community medical oncology and benign hematology. No procedures required. Full-time RN and Medical Assistant support the outpatient practice; chemo-certified RN staffs the infusion clinic. Provider must attend tumor board during onsite working weeks.
