Medical Oncologist – Petersburg, VA
Position Overview
A growing cancer program in Petersburg, Virginia is seeking two full-time Medical Oncologists to join an established oncology team. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician interested in helping expand cancer services while providing high-quality, patient-centered care to the community.
Qualifications
* MD or DO
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology & Oncology
* Eligible for Virginia Medical Licensure
* Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
* Interest in practice growth and community outreach
Position Highlights

Schedule & Call
* Monday–Friday
* 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
* Average patient volume: 35–40 patients per day
* Adult and geriatric patient population
* Shared evening and weekend call rotation
Practice Support
* 2 Registered Nurses
* 2 Medical Physicists
* 1 Radiation Oncologist
* Administrative and clinical support staff
Clinical Responsibilities
* Diagnose and treat cancer and blood disorders
* Develop and manage treatment plans
* Provide outpatient and inpatient oncology care
* Coordinate care with specialists and support services
* Participate in community outreach and education efforts
