Assignment Details
* Coverage Type: No Call
* Setting: Outpatient
* Start Date: ASAP
* End Date: Ongoing
* Schedule:
* Monday-Friday
* 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
* Patient Volume: 12-15 patients per day
* Practice Mix:
* Approximately 50% Hematology
* Approximately 50% Oncology
* Infusion Center: 23-chair infusion center
* EMR: Epic
* Support Staff:
* 1 Hematology/Oncology Physician
* 3 Registered Nurses
* 2-3 Medical Assistants
* Dedicated Oncology Pharmacist
Requirements
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
* Minimum commitment of 3 weeks per month
* Initial commitment of 6 months or longer
Clinical Details
* Outpatient hematology evaluations and management
* Outpatient oncology evaluations and management
* Cancer treatment planning and follow-up
* Hematologic disorder diagnosis and treatment
* Collaboration with infusion center staff
* Coordination with oncology pharmacy services
* Inpatient consultations as needed
