A leading tertiary medical center located just outside Boston, Massachusetts within a large, integrated academic health system is seeking a full-time BC/BE Medical Oncologist with a focus on Gastrointestinal (GI) and Head & Neck cancers. This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded oncology program recognized for clinical excellence, innovation, and a strong commitment to research and education.
Practice Highlights:
- Dual-Site Practice: Provide care across a flagship hospital campus and a modern, free-standing cancer center.
- Specialty Leadership: Serve as a regional expert in GI and Head & Neck malignancies within a collaborative cancer network.
- Balanced Schedule: Limited night and weekend call responsibilities support a sustainable work-life balance.
- Robust Support: Dedicated administrative staff and nurse navigators enhance patient care and workflow efficiency.
- Advanced Technology: Access to cutting-edge infusion services, radiation oncology, genetic counseling, and in-house next-generation sequencing (NGS).
Academic & Research Opportunities:
- Teaching Role: Educate medical students and internal medicine residents as part of an academic faculty appointment.
- Fellowship Involvement: Contribute as core faculty in a Hematology-Oncology fellowship program.
- Clinical Research: Participate in a strong clinical trials program with national cooperative group involvement.
- Academic Appointment: Eligibility for faculty appointment at an affiliated medical school, based on experience.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay Range: $400K-$480K
