Job description
Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Medical Oncologist to join our established multidisciplinary team. This position offers a strong referral network, supportive leadership, and the opportunity to help shape oncology services in the Chicago region.
Position Details
- Will be employed by Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group
- Full time | Dayshift Schedule 8 am-5pm
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a range of oncological conditions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgeons, radiologists, and specialized nurses
- Participate in tumor boards, case reviews, and quality initiatives
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based care and patient education
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board-certified/board-eligible in Medical Oncology
- Eligible for Illinois medical licensure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $450,000-$550,000 The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
