Locums – Ketchikan, Alaska, Medical Oncologist Opportunity

  • Locum tenens opportunity

  • Start date: June 1, 2026

  • Duration: 26 weeks

  • Reason for coverage: Gap in provider coverage

  • Seeking a board certified Medical Oncologist

  • Practice includes infusion services and medical oncology/hematology care

Practice Setting

  • Privileges include clinic and hospital

  • Primary setting: Outpatient

  • Patient population: Adult and geriatric patients

  • Average patients per day: 12–16

  • Provider will work solo

Clinical Details

  • Provide medical oncology and hematology services

  • Manage outpatient oncology patients receiving infusion therapies

  • No required procedures

Documentation Requirements

  • Applicant must provide documentation showing provision of hematology/oncology services within the last 24 months

  • Case logs must demonstrate scope and complexity consistent with requested privileges

Clinical Support and Technology

  • EMR: EPIC (proficient user required)

Requirements

  • Board certified Medical Oncology

  • Active Alaska medical license required at time of presentation

  • Active Alaska DEA required

  • BLS certification required
