Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat all aspects of hematology and oncology, including symptom management and precision medicine.
- Provide oversight for both the oncology/hematology clinic and infusion services.
- Ensure your presence at the Infusion Center for all treatments, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and various therapeutic procedures.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology.
- Must hold a valid CA medical license.
- DEA certification required.
- Fellowship in relevant field [REQUIRED].
- ACLS certification required if requesting moderate sedation privileges.
- Self-Query NPDB report required within 30 days of presentation date.
Working Hours
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with call duties.
Skills
- Proficient in the use of EMRs, specifically iKnowmed (Clinic) and Cerner (Infusion).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with support staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload with 15–20 patient admissions per day.
