Hematology Oncology Locums Job in Oregon | Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call | Beginning March 1 – Ongoing | Assignment #113715
Coverage Details
-- 4–5 days per week
-- 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
-- Admin day or half day available if needed
-- Work week runs Sunday–Saturday
-- Credentialing timeframe: 6–8 weeks
Call Details
-- 7 consecutive days of call, including one weekend
-- Call rotation: 1:4
-- One weekend per month
Requirements
-- Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology
-- Active Oregon license (willing to accept providers who need to obtain)
-- Clean background / no malpractice – highly preferred
-- DEA
Assignment Details
-- Outpatient setting (free-standing cancer center)
-- Reason for coverage: physician retirement and relocations
-- Patient mix: approximately 20% hematology and 80% oncology
-- Benign hematology cases typically referred out
-- Average volume of 10–15 patients per day
-- Inpatient rounding only when patients are admitted for inpatient chemotherapy
-- Radiation oncologists on site
-- Providers on staff include 3 physicians and 2 APPs
-- Facility trauma level: III
-- EMR: Epic
