🩺 Your Role

As an Oncologist, you will:

  • Diagnose and stage various cancers using clinical assessments, imaging, and labs

  • Develop individualized treatment plans (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, radiation coordination)

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as needed

  • Manage treatment-related side effects and provide supportive care

  • Educate and counsel patients and families throughout their cancer journey

  • Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, oncology nurses, NPs, and navigators

  • Participate in clinical trials and quality improvement initiatives

  • Stay current with evolving oncology guidelines and advancements

  • Mentor clinical staff and contribute to departmental growth

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology

  • Active Vermont Medical License (prior to start)

  • Completion of accredited residency program (as required)

  • Eligible for credentialing
