📍 Position Highlights

• 🗓 Schedule: 2 clinic days per week (~24 hours/week)

• 🕘 Outpatient clinic setting (day hours)

• 📞 Rotating call schedule

• 🔄 Rotating weekends

• 📅 Start: April 2026

• 🤝 Collaborative oncology & specialty support team

• ❌ No locums or locums-to-perm
  

• ❌ Must reside within 1-hour commute

🩺 Your Role

As an Oncologist, you will:

• Diagnose and stage various cancers using clinical assessments, imaging, and labs

• Develop individualized treatment plans (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, radiation coordination)

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as needed

• Manage treatment-related side effects and provide supportive care

• Educate and counsel patients and families throughout their cancer journey

• Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, oncology nurses, NPs, and navigators

• Participate in clinical trials and quality improvement initiatives

• Stay current with evolving oncology guidelines and advancements

• Mentor clinical staff and contribute to departmental growth

💰 Compensation & Benefits

• 💵 Competitive Salary: $250,000 – $350,000 annually (pro-rated based on schedule)

✅ Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology

• Active Vermont Medical License (prior to start)

• Completion of accredited residency program (as required)

• Clean malpractice history
