Compensation
  • Salary Range: $250,000 – $350,000 annually (Range provided in compliance with Vermont Act 155; final compensation based on experience and market factors)

Licensure & Certification Requirements
  • Medical Degree: MD (or equivalent) – Required

  • Board Status:

    • Board Certified in Oncology OR

    • Board Eligible in Oncology

  • State License:

    • Active Vermont medical license (or ability to obtain)

Practice & Facility Overview
  • Hospital Type: Not-for-profit community hospital

  • Beds: 61

  • Service Area: ~55,000 population across VT, NH, and MA

  • Oncology Setting: Outpatient clinic (open 5 days/week)

Oncology Team Includes:

  • Board-certified Medical Oncologist/Hematologist

  • Oncology-certified RNs

  • Nurse Practitioner / Clinical Nurse Specialist

  • Breast & Oncology Nurse Navigator

Clinical Responsibilities (High-Level)
  • Diagnose and stage cancers

  • Develop and manage personalized oncology treatment plans

  • Administer and oversee therapies including:

    • Chemotherapy

    • Immunotherapy

    • Targeted therapies

  • Monitor patient progress and manage treatment side effects

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams

  • Provide patient and family education and support

  • Participate in clinical research and quality initiatives (as applicable)
