Locums | Hematology/Oncology | No Call | Greenville, SC Why This Role

  • Outpatient-focused oncology assignment in a free-standing cancer center
  • No call requirements during the locum period
  • Established multidisciplinary practice with robust physician and APP support
Assignment Details Start Date ASAP End Date Ongoing Coverage Type No call Practice Setting Free-standing cancer center with inpatient rounding as needed Patient Population Adult and geriatric Outpatient Volume Approximately 25 patients per day Inpatient Volume Approximately 20 patients per day when rounding Practice Composition Seven physicians with six APPs Clinical Mix Approximately 65 percent benign hematology and 35 percent malignant oncology EMR Epic Clinical Details Outpatient hematology and oncology clinic coverage Inpatient oncology rounding as needed Participation in tumor board activities Management of bone marrow transplant patients Blood bank oversight Ordering and interpretation of laboratory tests and imaging Medication management and chemotherapy oversight administered by oncology nursing staff Requirements Board certified in Hematology/Oncology Active South Carolina medical license required or ability to obtain BLS required DEA required Current NPDB required for presentation Clean history Compensation Rates Facility is accepting bids Malpractice Provided Travel Reimbursed
