Medical Oncology Locums in Michigan - Flexible Blocks, APP Support
Outpatient-based oncology assignment in Grand Rapids with tumor board participation and light call rotation.
Highlights
- Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
- Block scheduling available; ongoing need
- Full support from 10 APPs across inpatient and outpatient teams
- Call is 1 in 5, evenings only, with weekend APP support
Practice Setting
- Outpatient cancer center with multidisciplinary collaboration
- 6 physicians onsite; EPIC charting
- Focus on lung cancer and general hematology
Schedule
- Full-time schedule with 8-16 patients per day
- Inpatient census averages 22 across two hospitals
- APPs handle most weekend and inpatient rounding
Cases and Procedures
- FNA/Biopsy procedures required
- Orders tests, images, and prescriptions
- Active participation in tumor board
Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible (within 5 years) in Medical Oncology
- Active Michigan license preferred
- BLS certification required
- Recent FNA/Biopsy case logs needed
