Job Title: Locum to Perm - Physician - Oncology
Join a free-standing cancer center in the vibrant city of Greenville, South Carolina. This facility is dedicated to providing high-quality cancer care in an outpatient and inpatient setting. The practice is currently seeking locum coverage for Medical Oncology due to the loss of a provider. This is a fantastic opportunity for physicians looking to make a significant impact in a supportive and dynamic environment, with a collaborative team of 7 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participation on a Tumor Board
- Management of Bone Marrow Transplants
- Ordering Tests and Images
- Prescribing Medications
- Administering Chemotherapy with Nurse Oncologist support
- Providing care for adult and geriatric patient populations
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation using EPIC
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology (REQUIRED)
- Active South Carolina medical license (REQUIRED)
- Current BLS and DEA certifications (REQUIRED)
- Clean background required for Emergency temporary positions (REQUIRED)
- Must have 4 week availability each month, with 4 days of availability each week for at least a 6-month initial contract (REQUIRED)
- A Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of the presentation date is mandatory (REQUIRED)
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Hematology & Oncology
- Active South Carolina medical license
- BLS Certification
- DEA Registration
