Job Opportunity: Locum to Permanent Physician in Oncology
Join a dedicated team at a Free-Standing Cancer Center in Greenville, South Carolina. This facility is seeking locum coverage in Medical Oncology due to the loss of a provider. The practice offers a collaborative environment with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations. The average patient load is 25 outpatients and 20 hospitalized patients per day. Enjoy a great work-life balance with no call during the locum period and a manageable call schedule if you transition to a permanent role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participation on a Tumor Board
- Management of Bone Marrow Transplants
- Blood Bank management
- Order tests and images
- Prescribe medications
- Administration of chemotherapy, coordinated with nurse oncologist
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology (Required)
- Active South Carolina license (will accept providers needing to obtain a state license) (Required)
- BLS & DEA certification (Required)
- Clean background required for Emergency temps (Required)
- Current NPDB required for presentation (Required)
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Hematology & Oncology
- Active South Carolina Medical License
- BLS Certification
- DEA Registration
