Locum - Oncology - MD/DO

Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Oncology in Greenville, SC

Join a reputable facility in the heart of Greenville, South Carolina, where we are seeking locum coverage in Medical Oncology. This free-standing cancer center provides a supportive and collaborative environment with a dedicated team of 7 physicians and 6 APPs. The practice features a patient population of adults and geriatrics, and there is no call required during the locum period.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate on a Tumor Board.
• Manage Bone Marrow Transplants.
• Oversee Blood Bank functions.
• Order tests and imaging.
• Prescribe treatment plans.
• Administer chemotherapy with the support of a Nurse Oncologist.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology - REQUIRED
• Active South Carolina medical license - REQUIRED
• Current BLS & DEA certifications - REQUIRED
• Clean background required for Emergency temps - REQUIRED
• Availability: Must work 4 weeks each month, with 4 days of availability each week; able to commit to at least a 6-month initial contract - REQUIRED
• A Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation is mandatory - REQUIRED

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in Hematology & Oncology
• Active SC Medical License
• BLS and DEA Certifications
