Medical Oncologist / Hematologist opening – Coos Bay, OR ## Position Details – Seeking two full-time or part-time Medical Oncologists and/or Hematologists – BE (within 2 years) or BC in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology – Approximately 20% Hematology / 80% Oncology – Outpatient-only role at a free-standing cancer center; no inpatient consults – Average 10–15 patients per day – New 19-chair infusion room with onsite mixing pharmacy – Nurse navigation and Radiation Oncology onsite – 8-hour clinic days – 1:4 call schedule (primarily critical lab calls) – Collaborative environment with high-performing infusion team – Facility offers a full range of medical services including cardiology, radiology, oncology, emergency care, surgical specialties, critical care, psychiatry, wound care, primary care, pediatrics, OB, and home health – Access to leading-edge clinical trials – Affiliated with Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU Knight Cancer Network) – Accepting Locum-to-Perm candidates – Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates – NPDB self-query report required – Clean malpractice history/background required – Open to new fellowship graduates ## Compensation Details – Total compensation $680,000+ (based on experience/training; full-time 40-hour equivalent) – Potential sign-on bonus (discussed at interview) – Relocation assistance available and flexible based on proximity – Strong relocation support ("white glove" service) – Comprehensive benefits package with 6% match – Generous PTO – CME allowance – Licensing and professional fee allowance – Paid interview expenses – Onsite employee health and wellness clinic – Onsite childcare and learning center – Strong organizational focus on work/life balance ## Requirements – BE (within 2 years) or BC in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology – Oregon license or willingness to obtain – REQUIRED – BLS or willing to obtain – REQUIRED – Oregon ties, if any (family, previous residence) – Clean malpractice history/background – REQUIRED – NPDB self-query report – REQUIRED – DEA (or willing to obtain before start date) – REQUIRED ## Call Schedule – 1:4 call rotation – 7 total days per block including one weekend – Primarily critical lab calls ## Community Details – Beautiful coastal community offering excellent work-life balance – Access to beaches, hiking, fishing, boating, and year-round outdoor recreation – Family-friendly environment with strong schools and safe neighborhoods – Scenic, peaceful lifestyle ideal for providers seeking balance and coastal living
