Job Title: Medical Oncologist (MD/DO)
Start Date: February 25, 2026 (Orientation on Day 1)
Position Type: Locum Tenens / Temporary Coverage During Recruitment
Specialty: Medical Oncology
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Oncologist (MD/DO) to provide inpatient and outpatient coverage while recruitment is underway for a permanent, employed clinician. This role offers the opportunity to join a collaborative care team and support adult oncology patients in a well-established hospital setting.
Position Details:
Setting: Both inpatient and outpatient
Hospital Beds: 240 (no dedicated oncology floor)
Duties: Primarily outpatient care with occasional inpatient rounding
Patient Demographics: Adult
Average Patient Volume: 15–20 patients per day
Privileges: Both inpatient and outpatient privileges required
Ideal Candidate:
Board-certified or board-eligible MD/DO in Medical Oncology
Comfortable managing a mixed inpatient/outpatient workload
Able to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Available to begin on or around February 25, 2026
