Locums | Hematology/Oncology | Inpatient + Outpatient | Chambersburg, PA Why This Role

  • Provide ongoing hematology and oncology care within a well-supported, collaborative team.
  • Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings with established clinical resources and a strong nursing staff.
  • Enjoy continuity and consistent scheduling through June 2026, including a structured call rotation.
Assignment Details Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient Start: December 29, 2025 End: June 30, 2026 Schedule: Weekdays; shared call rotation Wednesday to Wednesday Call: Beeper call, 1:4 rotation (15-minute response) Patient Volume: 12–15 per day in clinic Hospital Beds: 257 Support Staff: 8 RNs, 7 MAs, 3 APPs, 3 office staff Admissions: No Credentialing: Already credentialed Clinical Details Provide hematology/oncology consultations and follow-ups in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Collaborate with APPs and nursing staff for coordinated patient management. Participate in a rotating call schedule for weeknight and weekend coverage. Typical call volume includes 1–4 phone consults per day and up to 4 inpatient evaluations. No admissions responsibilities; focus on continuity of oncologic care. Requirements Board Certified in Oncology or Hematology/Oncology Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC Beeper call response within 15 minutes Prior hematology/oncology experience preferred Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
