Job Title: Physician - Oncology
Join our esteemed team in the serene community of Coos Bay, Oregon, where exceptional work-life balance meets coastal charm. We are seeking two full-time or part-time Medical Oncologists and/or Hematologists to join our renowned cancer center, serving as the primary hub for top-tier cancer care across the southern coast of Oregon.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide both part-time (48 hours per pay period) and full-time (80 hours per pay period) oncology services.
- Board Eligible (within 2 years) or Board Certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology.
- Preferred experience in Radiation Oncology, with a strong record.
- Demographics: 80% Oncology, 20% Hematology.
- Average daily patient load: 10-15 in clinic/office.
- Perform outpatient procedures at a beautiful free-standing cancer center.
- Collaborate on patient care with a new 19-chair infusion room and onsite pharmacy.
- Participate in a collaborative network including onsite Radiation Oncology.
- Maintain a 1:4 call schedule primarily for critical lab calls.
- Engage in cutting-edge clinical trials and affiliated services from the Oregon Health & Science University.

Qualifications:
- Must be TRULY Board Eligible (within 2 years) or Board Certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology.
- Active OR medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience practicing Radiation Oncology is required.
- Current or willing to obtain BLS certification.
- Proven clean malpractice history/background.
- Strong ties to Oregon, such as family in the area or previous residence.
- Willingness to consider either part-time or full-time employment.
- Completion of NPDB self-query report required.
- DEA must be obtained prior to start.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Oregon medical license (required).
- BLS certification (required).
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology (required).
