- Other Details: The facility is seeking a physician to provide patient-centered care through the use of appropriate diagnostics, physical exams, and history-taking to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions. The role involves clearly communicating treatment options, addressing patient concerns, maintaining accurate and complete medical documentation, and collaborating with the clinical team. Responsibilities include consulting with colleagues, being available for office visits and electronic communications, participating in call coverage, and supporting quality improvement and professional development efforts. Candidates must possess a valid state medical license, DEA, and BLS or ACLS certification. The schedule consists of 10-hour shifts on Monday, Thursday, and Friday (8:00 AM to 5:30 or 6:00 PM), with after-hours call coverage shared among six physicians—typically one weekend every six weeks and one weeknight every few weeks, including shared holiday coverage.

Job Responsibilities
* Communicate treatment options, address concerns, and answer questions with a patient-centered approach
* Accurately document in medical records for continuity of care, compliance, quality, safety, and billing
* Provide leadership and feedback to the clinical care team
* Consult with colleagues and refer patients when clinically appropriate
* Be available for office visits, phone calls, electronic communication, and on-call coverage as outlined in policy
* Participate in organizational efforts to improve quality, safety, and patient experience
* Engage in continuous learning and professional development
* Perform additional duties as outlined in the physician employment agreement and specialty requirements
Qualifications
* Residency trained in the relevant specialty
* Valid license to practice medicine in the applicable state
* Board certified or board eligible based on education and specialty
* Valid DEA license in the applicable state
* BLS or ACLS certification upon hire for acute care hospital, or within 90 days for ambulatory clinic
Working Hours
* After-hours call coverage shared among six physicians
* Weekend call approximately once every six weeks
* Occasional weeknight call every few weeks
* Shared holiday call coverage
