A highly regarded cancer care center in Boise, ID is seeking a locum tenens Hospitalist with a focus on oncology and hematology. This is a great opportunity for a board-certified provider to deliver specialized care within an inpatient setting, supported by a collaborative team of outpatient oncologists.
Scope of Practice:
- Inpatient rounding, admissions, consultations
- Treat oncology and hematology patients
- Administer appropriate medications
- No call or supervision of other healthcare providers
- No APP coverage; outpatient Oncologists available for support
- EMR: EPIC
✅ Candidate Requirements
- Board Certified in Medical Oncology or combined Medical Oncology/Hematology – IM with experience not accepted
- Idaho License, CSR, DEA, and BLS – REQUIRED
- COVID-19 Vaccinated – REQUIRED
- Clean background and malpractice history – REQUIRED
- Immediate availability at name clear – REQUIRED
- Local candidates preferred (no flight requirement)
