Locum to Perm โ€“ Physician โ€“ Medical Oncology/Hematology | Coos Bay, OR

Position Overview:
Hospital in Coos Bay, Oregon is seeking a compassionate and driven Medical Oncologist and/or Hematologist to join our renowned cancer center on a locum to perm basis. Whether you're seeking full-time or part-time, this is a rare opportunity to deliver high-quality, outpatient-only care in a state-of-the-art facility along Oregon's breathtaking southern coast.

This is an ideal position for new grads, seasoned oncologists, or international medical graduates requiring J-1/H-1B sponsorship.

Practice Highlights:

  • Schedule Options: Full-time (80 hours/PP) or Part-time (48 hours/PP)

  • Call: 1:4 (minimal, mostly critical lab calls)

  • Setting: Beautiful, modern, free-standing outpatient cancer center

    • No inpatient consults

    • 19-chair infusion center

    • Onsite radiation oncology, mixing pharmacy, and nurse navigators

  • Case Mix: 80% Oncology, 20% Hematology

  • Patient Volume: 10โ€“15/day

  • EMR: EPIC

Ideal Candidates:

  • Board Certified / Truly Board Eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology (within 2 years of fellowship) โ€“ Required

  • Oregon license or willing to obtain โ€“ Required

  • BLS certification or willing to obtain โ€“ Required

  • Any experience in Radiation Oncology โ€“ Preferred

  • Has ties to Oregon or genuine interest in relocating to the area โ€“ Strongly Preferred

  • Must confirm no prior direct application to Hospital โ€“ Required
